Growing up, it was normal if you were a little kid who really loved playing video games or with Barbie dolls.
However, not every child grows up with the same passions.
As a matter of fact, some kids would be bored within five minutes of playing Mario Party. Some kids would rather sing, sell chocolate chip cookies or even create masterful works of art, like little Aelita Andre.
The 7-year-old Melbourne-based artist has been painting since she was just 9 months old. As a matter of fact, Aelita held her own solo art exhibition when she was just 2 years old. By the time she was 5, she was already selling out art shows. Pretty impressive, huh?
According to APlus, Aelita is now recognized as the youngest painter in the world.

Meet Aelita Andre, a 7-year-old painter who’s been creating masterful works of art since she was just 9 months old.
The Melbourne-based artist, who is currently recognized as the world’s youngest painter, held her first solo exhibition at the young age of 2.
If you can’t tell by her most recent works, she’s been doing this for quite some time.
As a matter of fact, Aelita held her first sold-out art show at the age of 5.
Her latest collection of paintings is called Soundpaintings: Oracle of Space. During her exhibition, she will play a series of painted violins. She’s multitalented!
In each of her pieces, Aelita uses bright, vibrant colors in the form of acrylic paint, and she sometimes uses other props to add a unique flare to each piece.
Her paint-splattering technique has been compared to Jackson Pollock’s.
“Is Aelita Andre the next Jackson Pollock? Or tomorrow’s Damien Hirst?” – Noah Horowitz, New York Times.
The only thing cooler than looking at her paintings is watching the 7-year-old in action.
