Picked up an Xbox One. They put it in a lovely large reusable MS Store bag. On the way to my car the bag handle strap snapped. Oh well thankfully I caught it before it hit the ground and the box has a handle
On the way from the car to my house the box handle snapped and my new Xbox too a 3 foot tumble. Luckily it seems to be working A-OK.

everything you get. A very well constructed/durable chassis, a stable and secure OS optimized for it’s hardware, some of the best (2/?)
I got mine on Saturday and it took me all day to actually get to play a game, between network issues and insanely long installation times.
If they need more than a quad core CPU for what they do, then they should buy a professional grade computer. iMac is a “prosumer” kind of.
hardware. Not everyone in the world has the desire or knowledge base to build their own computer, and it’s quite difficult to build a laptop
Good for you, OP? Like, what do you expect us to say?
Hardly. That’s not even my motto. However I do use the motto ‘Expect the worst, hope for the best’ fairly often. Pays to be prepared.
Mine made it. But shit happens. If I buy a house I expect it not to fall down, but shit happens.
Please don’t compare desktop prices to laptop prices. Of course you can build a desktop for less than you can buy a laptop.
People like us know that. There are many who still look in the yellow pages to find a phone number. Building a PC isn’t in their future.
And you don’t pay for windows with any other laptops? Also you have to pay separate for Windows to use bootcamp. You’re paying for the logo.

Yes but their desktops (minus the mini) are all in one systems so the price comparison isn’t even their either, even though the iMac’s are
cheaper than the laptops and offer more power because….wait for it….more space to work with.
The rest of price is a mixture of decent power in a small footprint (R&D costs factor in) and typical mark ups. (4/4)
And it always will be cheaper because you’re taking doing most of the work and if you don’t do your research, run the risk of incompatible
